Spring, late summer and autumn are generally the best times to
travel to China. There is typically little rainfall, plenty of
sunshine and temperatures ranging from 65 F in the mountains to 95
F in the cities. However, the weather in China is similar to and as
varied as the weather in the United States. Comparable U.S. cities
are: Minneapolis for Beijing, Denver for Xi'an, San Francisco for
Shanghai, Atlanta for Guilin.
