The ideal time to visit Laos is from November until February when daytime highs are in the mid-80s. It will be cool at night, and even cold in mountainous areas like Luang Prabang and the Plain of Jars. March through June the weather in Laos is very hot and dry, and not a great time to visit. From July to October, the monsoon rains come and the land is green and lush.
